Hello again dear classmates!
In the blog for today we will learn a little bit more about a recent topic that we have studied in class馃構 and is "BY and WITH".
As you know, is not a very complicated topic to do, since we just have to remember when we use BY or when we use WITH馃榾
According to the book, we use BY for means of transportation and communication, for example:
BY bus馃殞
BY car馃殫
or
BY mail馃摡
BY phone馃摓
And also we use WITH for instruments or part of the body, for example:
I hurt my finger WITH a knife.馃敧
He can not touch his elbow WITH his tongue.馃憛馃挭
Is not difficult, right馃構, but I found some resources on internet that I am sure that will help you with the topic, since show us the difference between them, explain us in a very easy way and also share us some exercise to continue practice.
Honestly those websites have helped me a lot to acquire new things about it and also to reinforcement my previous knowledge.

I HOPE THOSE CAN HELP YOU A LOT LIKE ME馃挏
Thanks for visit me馃榿馃榿

ResponderEliminarHello Andy!
ResponderEliminarI like reading your post because you explined the topic very easy, it also liked me, because the content that you share is very useful, I know that we were studed this in the grammar classe recently, but I forget the uses of BY or when we use WITH, but now thanks to your post I reinforced my knowledge about BY and WITH , I just have a question there are another use for BY that are not transportation and communication.
Thank you Andy!!
Hi, Andy. I liked the topic you have chosen; it is really important to understand very well how to use with and by correctly. I figured out by reading your post and the web sites you shared, that there can be ambiguity when using with. And we use by for means of transportation and communication, in contrast to with, we use it for instruments or parts of the body. I have a question, After by, what type of verbal do we use? See ya!!馃槈馃槡
ResponderEliminarHi Andrea!
ResponderEliminarI really like your post it`s really nice in the way that you can explain, as you said seems easy topic but sometimes when don`t know a lot of about some kind of topic we make some mistakes, it`s a reason that we have to study then practice.
I have a doubt, It is posible that in the same sentence I can use both?
thanks for your information.
Hello Andy!
ResponderEliminarI like the little emojis that you post in your entries, it makes the post being a little flashier 馃槑
Well, this is not a difficult topic and also, as you say the web pages have helped me too in acquire new things about it, thanks for the information! 馃榿馃挭
I only have a question, which kind of prepositions are “by” and “with”?
Hi Andy! I enjoyed reading your blog because it was quite similar to mine. This topic is really useful and sometimes we can get confused about the correct use of by and with. With your post you helped me to remember that "by" is used with transportation media and "with" is used with body parts. I have a question. If I say "I enjoy passing time by myself" and "I enjoy passing time with myself" are they different in meaning or is one of these two incorrect? Thanks!
